Tip of the Day!

December 15, 2021

Get yourself a kitchen scale and then use it.

Weighing ingredients is the key to repeatability. Makes notes with recipes about how much something weighed, that way, if you want to make the recipe again, you just weigh out the ingredients. Especially helpful with dry goods like polenta.

Something like this Taylor would do wonders. Notice that it weighs in ounces, pounds, and grams? Yeah, each are super helpful but may require the smallest amount of math you can imagine.

If your recipe calls for 1/2 cup of wine, consider it and then use 1/2 bottle. Go on, won't kill you.
